Aftercare and warranty terms vary by procedure type — 1 year warranty for nose procedures | 6 months for all other procedures
Overall Warranty Principles
DCH Hospital's warranty is an aftercare entitlement that follows the specific terms of each procedure.
This warranty does not mean every case is automatically eligible for revision, repeat treatment, or a change of shape.

Each case is reviewed based on actual symptoms, photographs, treatment history, follow-up examinations, and medical appropriateness, with the case physician making the final assessment.

Requests to change shape or adjust results based on personal preference, without a valid medical indication, may not be covered under the warranty.

NOSE
Nose Surgery
Rhinoplasty and nose structure procedures
Warranty: 1 year after surgery
Cases Covered Under Warranty
  • Implant tilting, requiring removal and replacement due to the implant protruding or showing through the skin
  • The result does not match the shape agreed upon before surgery
  • Permanent implant removal required due to potential harm, such as incorrect placement or the tip being at risk of perforation
  • Wound dehiscence caused by the surgical technique itself
Cases Not Covered Under Warranty
  • The doctor scheduled a follow-up appointment, but the patient declined or postponed it
  • Minor nose asymmetry due to the patient's natural body or facial structure, not a surgical error
  • Capsular contracture, or implant tilting caused by the body forming abnormal scar tissue, or naturally thin nasal tissue
  • Infection resulting from improper self-care after surgery
  • The patient experiences an accident, such as a fall, impact, or other injury to the nose
  • Vigorously moving, picking at, or scratching the nose, pressing on the nose, or sleeping face-down/on the side/bending the head forward too soon
  • Smoking, drinking alcohol, or taking medications/supplements prohibited by the doctor during recovery
  • Claims or revision requests made after the 1-year warranty period will incur actual charges
Note: If you wish to change the shape while the result matches what was agreed before surgery, revision is available at actual cost, with a special discount from DCH Hospital.
